The matriarch of Canadian literature, Susanna Moodie's life and work has inspired such notable writers as Carol Shields and Margaret Atwood. In a stunning multi-media presentation, artist Charles Pachter, the poetry of Margaret Atwood, the prose of Carol Shields, the graphic novel prowess of Willow Dawson and the digital creativity of Xenophile Media's Alex Mayhew and Conor Holler are presented on stage.

Iconic Canadian artist Charles Pachter will show his brilliant visualizations of Journals of Susanna Moodie accompanied by his creative partner Margaret Atwood's exclusive audio readings. Willow Dawson, an award-winning illustrator will accompany Xenophile's creative team of Holler and Mayhew in showing a sneak preview of Roughing It In the Bush, Moodie's masterpiece, adapted by Shields and now presented as chapters in an interactive graphic novel.
