Margeaux Feldman is a PhD Candidate in English and Sexuality Diversity Studies at the University of Toronto. She's currently at work on her dissertation, entitled &dlquo;The Hideosity of Adolescence: Refiguring Intimacy and Sexuality in America.&drquo; Her dissertation focuses on the ways in which adolescent girls have been depicted as hideous and how they've chosen to revel in their hideousness in order to depathologize female sexuality and create new forms of intimacy.
