From the Archives of Vidéo Populaire

Videomaker/curator Anne Golden's literary debut (Pedlar Press) is a stunning “fictional oral history” of video production centre Vidéo Populaire. Evoking the Montreal art scene of the 70s and 80s, expertly intertwining historical and personal narrative with art and theory, From the Archives of Vidéo Populaire is a “book for everyone who has ever considered doing the impossible and perhaps, at least partially, succeeded.” (Jacob Wren)

The evening will begin with clips from Golden's eponymous video, followed by an onstage interview by Pages UnBound Artistic Director Marc Glassman.
